These Terms of Service govern the services provided by Straight Estimate to businesses ("Client", "you"). By signing a proposal, paying an invoice or using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are

2. Services
We provide a website estimating tool for heating and cooling contractors. It shows homeowners price ranges based on the Client's own pricing and collects estimate requests. Services include:
- Setup: configuring the estimator with the Client's price book, branding and service area, and providing the code to install it on the Client's website.
- Monthly subscription: hosting, ongoing maintenance of the Client's pricing and rebate information, and support.
- Optional add-ons, such as the Phone Estimator, where agreed in writing.
The exact scope, prices and timeline for each Client are set out in a written proposal or order.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted in US dollars. Payments may be processed in Israeli shekels at the exchange rate on the day of payment; your bank may apply its own exchange rate or foreign transaction fees.
- Setup fee: 50% is due when the proposal is accepted, and the remaining 50% is due when the estimator is delivered and ready to go live.
- Monthly subscription: billed in advance each month, starting on the go-live date.
Work starts after the deposit is received. Late or failed payments may lead to suspension of the service.
4. Delivery
Delivery timelines depend on the Client providing a usable price list, branding and website access. Delays in receiving these extend the timeline accordingly.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- Setup deposit: fully refundable if you cancel in writing before work has started. Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Remaining setup balance: due on delivery and non-refundable once the estimator has been delivered.
- Monthly subscription: a minimum term of 3 months applies from the go-live date. After that, you may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice to saleem@straightestimate.com. Fees for periods already billed are not refunded.
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.
6. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the prices and information you provide, for approving the price ranges shown, and for the final prices you charge customers. Estimates shown to homeowners are ranges for guidance, not binding quotes. You are responsible for your own compliance with laws that apply to your business and your communications with customers.
7. Rebate and incentive information
Rebate and incentive information is provided for general guidance, shows the date it was last verified, and can change without notice. We do not guarantee any homeowner's eligibility or any program's availability.
8. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any specific number of leads, bookings, sales or revenue.
9. Intellectual property
The estimator software, platform and related materials remain our property. You receive a non-exclusive right to use them for your business while your subscription is active. Your price data and your customers' information remain yours.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes do not affect fees already agreed in a signed proposal.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
